H.G.S Turkey Crust Pizza
Look at that crust thoughhh
What You’ll Need:
• 1 lb ground turkey
• 1 egg
• 2 tbsp grated parm
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 2 garlic cloves, crushed
• ½ cup low-carb marinara (we like to use nonna’s recipe, but RAO’s will do)
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella
• Optional toppings: pepperoni, sausage, peppers, mushrooms, bacon—go nuts (within reason)
How to Make It:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment or a silicone mat. Spray if needed.
2. Mix turkey, egg, parm, garlic, salt, pepper, and seasoning in a bowl like you’re making meatloaf.
3. Flatten into a pizza crust on the sheet—thin is key unless you want a meat sponge.
4. Bake ~20 min, until cooked through (not browned).
5. Add sauce, cheese, and whatever toppings you want.
6. Back in the oven for 5 min, then broil for a quick top crisp if you’re fancy. Let it cool. Fridge the leftovers.
Notes:
• Thinner crust = faster cook. Don’t overdo it—it finishes cooking after toppings.
• Stick to low-sugar sauces. Tomato sauce can sneak in carbs.
• For toppings, meat and low-carb veggies are your friends. No pineapple. We’re not monsters.
